Inspired by an Oushak tribal rug made in Turkey in the mid-to-late 19th century, Reynolds by Ralph Lauren Rugs bridges the patterns of Persian carpets and Bessarabian rugs from the Ukraine and Russia. Artfully hand-knotted of premium wool in the style of Nomadic weavers from Oushak who used few colors, extra thick yarn and large Turkish knots, Reynolds is processed with a special wash to reproduce the sheen acquired over time in prized antique Oushak rugs.
